![]() Hybrid technology from Seagate combines SSD and traditional hard drive technology to provide SSD speeds from an affordable high capacity hard drive. SSD 1 TB Hybrid for $84.99 (see below) then a SSD 1TB for $309.99. Crucial has one for $154.99 but then the install instructions say I need a 2.5" to 3.5" converter? Please help? Can someone please explain the difference for over $200 and which one they would recommend? OWC has one as well for $189 but won't ship for 19 days. I went to IFixIt and found they have 2 different SSD - at a big price difference. The Mac store tech said I could use any SSD 2.5" internal drive - and he showed me some for under $100 online but now that I'm home looking there seems to be a big difference in SSD Internal drives. In searching for a replacement hard drive for my 13" MacBook Pro mid 2012 - MacBookPro9,2 (Non Retina) - I'm finding mixed information.
